Design of the steel frames inclusive of possible columns
All the code required nominal bearing capacities are proven

  • sectional capacity/stress check
  • super-critical plate buckling stability
  • flexural tosional buckling stability
    - free or restrained (or none)
    - flex. tors. buckling supports (fork/warping) at the purlins
    - in case of purlins are present, free buckling between the purlins are checked as well
    - direct solution of the differential equations (tapered sections)
  • column buckling stability
  • interaction between column buckling and flex. tors. buckling
