Wind bracings can consist of tensile diagonals with or without horizontals, tensile/compressive diagonals or V-lattices. They are designed for wind on gables, for tangential wind on the roof surfaces and facings, for load contributions from stabilizing of the inner flanges of the frames and for unintentional skew erection of the steel frames.
